Exosome Injection Quotes in Korea: What a Per-Session Price Does and Doesn’t Include

If you're looking into exosome treatment in Korea from abroad, the first number you'll usually find is a per-session price. It's a useful starting point, but it's rarely the whole bill. One Gangnam clinic, for example, publishes its exosome prices as dated list figures that exclude 10% VAT, and says the final amount is only confirmed at consultation. To read a quote well, you need to know which units the figure is built from and which costs sit outside it.

Why a single exosome price rarely equals the final bill

Aesthetic clinics often price their services the way any service business prices a menu: a base unit with conditions attached. The unit might be a volume of product, a single visit or a device session. The conditions might cover tax, add-ons billed separately, and a treatment plan that's only fixed once a doctor has seen you. If you compare two headline figures without checking those units, one quote can look cheaper or more expensive than it really is.

It helps to break any exosome injection price per session into five questions. How much product does the session contain? Is tax included? Which other treatments are billed separately? How many sessions are proposed? And who sets the final plan? The sections below work through these questions using one clinic's published list as an example, then turn them into points worth getting in writing.

Reading one clinic's list: volume, VAT and separately charged pairings

On its price list dated 20 August 2026, THE Beautiful Clinic in Gangnam lists Cell Exosome / ASCE Exosome at 129,000 KRW for 3cc and 258,000 KRW for 6cc. The clinic says each amount is one session, so 6cc means a larger dose in a single visit, not two visits. It gives these as list prices before 10% VAT. In other words, this is a VAT excluded clinic price list, and you would pay more than the printed number.

The same clinic says that pairing exosome with a Potenza session is charged separately, at 169,000 KRW plus a 44,000 KRW tip. That matters when you compare clinics. If one clinic quotes exosome on its own and another includes a device session, the two figures aren't measuring the same thing.

The clinic's own page on exosome injection korea sets out these per-cc, per-session figures together with their conditions. That makes it a handy template for questions to ask other clinics: how many cc the session holds, whether VAT is included, and whether a paired treatment has its own fee and tip charge. Bear in mind that this is one clinic's dated list, not a typical or market-wide price. Other clinics may structure their prices quite differently.

Sessions, consultation decisions and what to get in writing

The number of sessions is where a per-session price can drift furthest from your total budget. THE Beautiful Clinic says it has no course price for exosome. Each session is charged at the single-session rate, and the number of sessions is set at consultation. The clinic adds that its medical director decides the amount, any pairing and the spacing of sessions at that point. So the published list tells you the price of one unit, and the consultation decides how many units you'll pay for.

That's why a Korean clinic written quote is worth more than a verbal estimate. Ask for a written breakdown showing the amount per session, whether VAT is included, any add-on treatments and tip fees, the proposed number of sessions and the total budget range that results. If any of those lines is missing, you're still looking at an estimate, not a cost.

If you're arranging treatment from abroad, you might use a booking coordinator. KCODI, for example, says it arranges Korean clinic bookings and assigns medical interpreters, and it doesn't provide treatment itself. According to its own terms, it offers two or three written, itemised quotes. It also says patients pay the clinic directly, partner clinics pay KCODI a coordination fee, and patients aren't charged booking or interpreter fees.

KCODI describes its itemised quotes in terms of surgeon, method, anaesthesia and aftercare. So if you're weighing exosome injection korea options from a distance, ask directly whether an exosome treatment can be quoted that way at the clinic you have in mind. KCODI itself says clinic offerings differ and invites people to ask what applies at a particular clinic. It also says interpreter availability depends on your dates, so check that before relying on any medical interpreter booking Korea service for your trip.

Questions that belong in the consultation, not just the quote

Price is only part of your checks. THE Beautiful Clinic describes exosome as a skin-quality treatment at its clinic, not a treatment for any illness. It asks prospective patients to share their full medical history at consultation, including recent fillers, isotretinoin and any medicines that affect healing. It also cautions that results and recovery vary from person to person, and that any treatment can have side effects.

The clinic also reports that a US FDA safety notice dated 6 December 2019 said there were no FDA-approved exosome products. That statement comes from the clinic's page, not from the notice itself, and regulatory positions can change. If you want certainty about the current status, check with the relevant regulator directly.

A short list of questions covers most of the ground. How many cc does each session contain? Is VAT included in the figure? Which paired treatments or tips are billed separately? How many sessions are proposed, and how far apart? What medical history does the doctor need to know? Asking these before you commit helps turn a published number into a figure you can actually plan around. And remember that the clinic in this example only confirms its final price at consultation.
